Access to Work (AtW)

For those identifying as neurodivergent, Access to Work offers a grant to cover the cost of a Virtual Assistant (VA), sometimes known as a Support Worker.

At Sycamore OBM, we can:

• Aid with organising tasks, planning and finance; ensuring the best use of your time and keeping you accountable
• Manage communication channels, such as handling emails and phone calls.
• Provide administrative assistance; covering tasks like scheduling, creating documents, and precise data entry.
• Handle life-admin responsibilities, such as coordinating events, navigating insurance matters, and ensuring the smooth execution of the day-to-day whilst you focus on the key elements of your role.

It’s important to note that a formal diagnosis is not required to apply for Access to Work funding.

Our Access to Work Advisor can support you with all aspects of your application, from the initial gathering of information, right through to the administration of payments, should your award be successful. 

We offer this application service free of charge to those neurodivergent business owners and those self employed, who are looking for VA support and need an Access to Work grant to get started.

Many of our neurodivergent clients have been offered funds for coaching, as part of their award.

At Sycamore OBM, we create a supportive and empowering space where you can be heard, understood, and find strategies to thrive in both your professional and personal life.

Our Coaches can work with you in a bespoke and personalised way and this is accessible in the same way as our VA service, through Access to Work funding.
