Celebrate Success: Do you feel like you are ALWAYS climbing a mountain?

Climbing a Mountain Blog

Yesterday I was in a meeting with a client. She shared that there is so much we are dealing with, it often feels like the work is never done. She is ambitious for her small business, she wants to be delivering the best possible service and so we are implementing back office systems and processes to enable us to do that. We have improved a lot, but it’s a small business and things take time, while continuing to deliver for clients. It can be hard to celebrate successes when you’re stressed!

Improving your business can feel like climbing a mountain that is never going to blinkin’ end. Remember to stop, get your breath back and look at how far you have come. Look at all those challenges you have already overcome. The systems that are already delivering. The sales that have come from those systems. Look at the view you can now enjoy from this height. Yes there is more climbing but remember to celebrate success and congratulate yourself on the progress made to date.

What does it look like to celebrate success?  Is that sharing your progress with someone else?  Perhaps you go for a walk.  Or is it ordering a take away that night.  Whatever it is, make sure you take time to celebrate.  I find it’s the easiest bit to forget about!
