Accessing an OBM

You can hire an Online Business Manager and pay for their services; or, if you’re eligible, you can apply for Access to Work and your OBM will be paid through the Department for Work and Pensions. We can actually help you (for free) with your application, if that’s something you need.

Generally, OBMs are paid a fixed hourly rate. If you have Access to Work, you may have been allotted a fixed amount or a number of hours that you can use for a Support Worker or a Coach. You can hire an OBM either on an ongoing basis, for a fixed term, or for a specific project — we do it all at Sycamore.
